「TROPICAL TREE at Myorenji temple」

先週、京都の妙蓮寺で開催された映像と音のパフォーマンス「TROPICAL TREE」、当日は30名近くの方にご来場いただき、盛況のうちに終演しました。

映像作家、書家、ギタリスト、箏、鳳笙と唄、サウンドスケープなど、多彩なアーティストによる豪華な共演と、妙蓮寺という場が持つ独特の時空が絶妙に響き合い、忘れることの出来ない一夜となりました。

Attracting almost 30 visitors, the film and sound performance ‘TROPICAL TREE’, that was held at the Myōrenji temple last week, became a great success.
‘TROPICAL TREE’ was a rich performance carried out by artists who are concerned with a wide variety of media such as film, soundscapes, guitar, koto (a traditional Japanese stringed instrument), shō (a Japanese reed musical instrument), poetry and calligraphy. It became an unforgettable night, hearing these instruments resound beautifully throughout the Myōrenji temple, a place where a unique sense of time and space can be felt.
